Manila—The jackpot prize for the 6/58 Ultra Lotto draw tomorrow evening has reached at least P1 billion, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes (PCSO).

The PCSO said that the jackpot to be drawn at 9 p.m. tomorrow (October 9) is the highest in the history of Philippine lottery.

“This P1 billion jackpot prize is historic for PCSO. Everyone is excited. They all want to win the top prize,” said PCSO general manager Alexander Balutan.

“Whoever wins this prize will be the first-ever PCSO billionaire,” he added.

The last biggest jackpot in PCSO history was the P741 million won by a balikbayan from New York through a “lucky pick” at a lotto outlet in Olongapo, Zambales in 2010.

The Ultra Lotto jackpot grew to at least P1 billion after no one correctly chose the six-digit combination in the last draw on Sunday.

The Ultra Lotto 6/58 online lottery game is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. To win, a bettor should choose six numbers from 1 to 58 or choose a “lucky pick.” Each bet costs P24.
