The online registration for the civil service exam here in Hong Kong on November 27 began today (Nov. 4) and will last until Nov. 13, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) said.

In an announcement on its website, the CSC said applicants need to fill out the Application Form for Civil Service Examination (CS Form 100), Revised September 2016), which can be obtained from the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) or downloaded from the CSC website.

They then have to register on the CSC website (www.csc.gov.ph). The specific link for the online registration is: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSetG1IVSM6hj_ovZcvxihVwJnGiaZhLCJO9pSrKE5aSo1h6Ww/viewform?c=0&w=1

“The exam is open to overseas Filipino workers currently based in Hong Kong and Macau who are at least 18 years old on the date of registration,” the CSC said.

It said applicants should have four pieces of passport sized (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) I.D. picture taken not more than three months ago, in white background.

“The picture should show the applicant’s bare face without eyeglasses or any accessory that may cover facial features, and a hand-held written name tag legibly showing the applicant’s signature over printed full name,” the CSC said.

It said added that two pieces of the I.D. picture should be pasted on the appropriate spaces in the form, and the remaining two pictures should be attached at the upper left portion of the form.

“Applicants should then pay the registration fee of PHP1,500 via bank or remittance/payment centers,” the CSC said.

It said payment should be directed to the Civil Service Commission through the following details:

Account Name : CSC Fiscal Autonomy Trust Receipt # 3122-1001-10
Account Number : 3122-1005-01
Bank Branch : Landbank of the Philippines (Batasan, Quezon City Branch)
Swift Code / BIC : TLBPPHMM

“After payment, applicants should proceed to POLO-Hong Kong and submit the fully accomplished CS Form No. 100 with the pasted and attached I.D. pictures, a photocopy of their valid Philippine passport (photo page only) or valid Hong Kong Identity Card or valid Macau Identification Card, and a photocopy of the bank deposit slip or proof of payment,” the CSC said.

“Applicants should remember to keep with them a photocopy of the accomplished form, the original valid Philippine passport or valid Hong Kong Identity Card or valid Macau Identification Card, and the original bank deposit slip or proof of payment,” it added.

The commission said these documents will be presented for verification during the actual day of the exam.

“As a final step, applicants should fill-out the Online Registration Form found in the CSC website. Those who register online without submitting to POLO all the documentary requirements will not be processed and will not be allowed to take the exam,” the CSC said.

“Those who will pass the exam can personally claim their Certification of Eligibility upon their return to the Philippines at the CSC office they selected on the online registration form,” the CSC said.

Representatives are not allowed to claim the certification on their behalf, it added.
