PRC to hold board exam for teachers in HK in September

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will hold a board exam for teachers here in Hong Kong in September, Labor Attache Nenita Garcia said.

Garcia said those who are interested in taking the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) for overseas Filipino workers on September 27 should apply through online application at www.prc.gov.ph/online/application.

Once completed, applicants should submit to the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Admiralty a photocopy of their Transcript of Records (with or without scanned picture and remarks “For Board Examination Purposes Only”), their valid passport, and four passport-size pictures with complete nametag in white background.

“POLO will accept the requirements until August 7, 2015 only. Further, POLO will pre-qualify and pre-evaluate the documents submitted by the interested applicants and submit the list to the PRC not later than August 20,” Garcia said.

They will be categorized under those who pre-qualified for elementary level and those who pre-qualified for secondary level (per major subject of specialization), she added.
