Wilma Balwit and Agapita Parantar were named 1st runner up and 2nd runner up respectively.
Event organizer Annaliza Torralba, who co-hosted the grand finals, explained that the competition was aimed at bringing together Filipinos and Indonesians to showcase their unique talents and help boost their self-confidence.
Leisure World Club Hong Kong, a subsidiary of Leisure and Resorts World Corporation (LRWC), began its operations in February last year, and is the first Philippine-owned company to introduce wholesome recreation through electronic bingo.
Gen-Ex Marketing Director and Leisure World Club Manager Vinson Gonda, who also co-hosted the event, expressed gratitude for the support of the Filipinos and Indonesians. Asked if there is a planned Asian Talent Showdown Season 2, his answer was “just watch out.”
Scores of the winners were a combination of 80 percent from the judges and the 20 percent from the number of new members the contestant can refer to Leisure World Club, for a total of 100%.
