Eight of 14 Covid-19 cases logged untraceable

Hong Kong health authorities logged 14 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, with eight of them being local cases without traceable origins.

The Centre for Health Protection said the eight cases include two housewives, a marketing person who lives in Kowloon City, a dishwasher from Kwai Chung, a person in charge of a residential care home for the elderly but worked from home, a photocopier sales person, a secretary, and a retiree.

The city has recorded 11,047 cases of Covid-19 to date.
