FDH accused of stealing $400 jacket

A 34-year-old Filipino domestic worker was accused of theft after she allegedly stole a jacket worth $400 from her employer in Mid-Levels.

Defendant Aisha B.P. appeared before Eastern Courts Presiding Magistrate Peter Law on October 23 and asked for more time so that she could prepare her legal defense.

The helper allegedly stole the jacket on October 14 from her employer, who lives in The Rednaxela Terrace in Mid-Levels.

“The defendant asks for an adjournment until December 4 so defendant can obtain prosecution papers and get legal advice,” her lawyer told the court.

Judge Law granted her request and required her not to leave Hong Kong and report regularly at the Tsim Sha Tsui police station.
