HK temperature to drop to 18 degrees Celsius next week
Winter is coming.
Temperatures in Hong Kong are expected to go down to 18 degrees Celsius next week, according to the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO).
The HKO said that the weather will be cloudy beginning next Tuesday (Nov. 19) with temperatures ranging from 18 to 22 degrees Celsius.
Another strong northeast monsoon is expected to affect southern China early next week. Temperatures will fall significantly over the region, the Observatory said.
It said a cold front will reach southern China tomorrow (Nov. 13) night and the associated northeast monsoon will bring cooler and dry weather in the next couple of days. Temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large in inland areas.
It will be mainly fine and dry on Sunday (Nov. 17) with temperatures ranging from 21 to 27 degrees Celsius before going down significantly week.
Winter usually begins in Hong Kong in mid-December.
