The temperature in Hong Kong could go as low as 18 degrees Celsius in the next two days, according to the Hong Kong Observatory.

The Observatory said the temperature will range from 18 to 21 degrees Celsius tomorrow (November 22) and 18 to 23 degrees Celsius on Friday.

“Under the influence of a replenishment of the monsoon, it will be significantly cooler over the south China coastal areas in the next couple of days. The weather will be brighter towards weekend,” the Observatory said.

It said a band of clouds was expected to bring rainy weather to the south China coast and northern part of the South China Sea early next week.

On the other hand, the tropical cyclone over the Philippines will move across central to southern parts of the Philippines and southern part of the South China Sea in the next few days.

The weather in Hong Kong during November is usually cool and dry with temperatures ranging from 19 degrees to 24 degrees Celsius.

It seldom rains but there might be drizzle in some areas as the city’s late autumn weather transitions into winter, which usually begins in mid-December.
