Seafarer from PH among 9 new cases of COVID-19
A Filipino seafarer is among the nine confirmed cases of coronavirus infection Wednesday, the Centre for Health Protection said.
The 29-year-old seafarer flew in from Manila on Sept. 15, and he did not show any symptoms.
He is among the four imported COVID-19 cases—the others flew in from India, the United States, and France.
Wednesday saw a rebound of local coronavirus cases after no locally confirmed transmissions were reported on Tuesday.
One local infection was part of a cluster in Transport City Building in Tai Wai. He was 45.
All local cases recorded today had links to previous cases.
The daily tally brings the total confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city to 4,985.
