A 36-year-old woman from the Philippines is among the six new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases recorded in Hong Kong Sunday.

She was among the five imported cases reported by the Centre for Health Protection. An eight-year-old girl from Ireland was also confirmed to be positive.

The other cases came from the United States, France, and Pakistan.

On Saturday, Dr. Chuang Shuk-kwan from the CHP reported a 42-year-old male who worked at Siu Ying Commercial Building in Sheung Wan who tested preliminary positive. He had no known source of infection and was confirmed positive today as the sole local case.

Hong Kong currently has, including Sunday’s tally of infections, 5,296 COVID-19 cases to date.
