The Philippine Consulate General said on March 9 that a fourth Filipino has contracted the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The report came days after the first Filipina domestic worker who tested positive for COVID-19 has been released from the hospital.

The Centre for Health Protection earlier said today that the 113th case of COVID-19 infection in Hong Kong involves a 47-year-old domestic helper who worked for Yvonne Chow Hau Yee, the Hong Kong Jockey club member who tested positive for the virus on Feb.25.

The domestic worker also came in contact with the 90th case, the 29-year-old Filipina domestic helper who has been confirmed to have been infected with COVID-19 also on Feb.25.

The 47-year-old migrant domestic worker lives at Block 4, Swiss Towers at 113 Tai Hang Road, Tai Hang and is now confined at Prince of Wales Hospital.

The PCG said she is in good spirits and is now in a stable condition.

Hong Kong now has at least 114 cases of patients with confirmed COVID-19 infection, with three casualties. The latest patient to die was a 76-year-old woman who also suffered from diabetes.
