President Rodrigo Duterte will visit Hong Kong on April 12 for a meeting with members of the Filipino community, presidential spokesman Harry Roque said.

The President will go to Hong Kong after a regional forum. He will also attend the 32nd Leaders Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, tentatively from April 26 to 28.

Prior to the trips, Duterte will spend the Holy Week in Davao where he will also mark his 73rd birthday on March 28, Roque said.

“The President usually stays at home during his birthday. But there might be a celebration after his birthday,” Roque said.

The program for the President’s meeting with the Filipino community in Hong Kong will be from 3 pm to 9 pm on April 12. The venue will be announced later, according to the Philippine Consulate General (PCG).

Due to limited seats, those who wish to attend should register online by submitting copies of their passport’s data page and Hong Kong ID to prrd.hk2018@gmail.com not later than April 2, the PCG said.

For walk-in registrants, they can go to the PCG from 9 am to 4 pm on March 28 and April 2 and present their passports and HKIDs, the PCG added.
