Six more Filipino band members test positive for COVID-19

The Department of Health confirmed to Hong Kong News on March 25 that six other Filipino members of a band who played in Lan Kwai Fong tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

The band played at the Insomnia bar at 30-32 D’Aguilar St.

“They also played in Wan Chai,” the Information and Public Relations Division of the Department of Health said.

The band members were cases  343, 362,367,384,386 and 387. Four of these are male while two are female.

Their ages ranged from 26-48 years old. All of them, aside from 386 and 387 are confined at Queen Mary Hospital.

Prior to this, the Department of Health confirmed to Hong Kong News that their bandmate is the 276th person infected with COVID-19.

At least 386 people have contracted the illness in Hong Kong, 17 of whom are Filipino. Among the 17 Filipinos, four have been discharged.
