Germany has increased of the minimum wage for Filipino workers who will be recruited under a project with the Philippine government, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) said.
The POEA said nurses who were interviewed and have signed employment contracts under the Triple Win Project as of January 1 will receive 2.000 euros (P118,200) before and 2,400 (P141,800) after recognition as qualified nurse. The previous minimum wage was 1,900 euros (P112,200) and 2,300 euros.
