27-year-old Filipino domestic worker arrested on suspicion of injuring one-year-old boy: HK Police

The Police received a report at 7:18 pm last Friday (17 March) from the parents of a one-year-old boy informing the police that they suspected that their son was attacked by their domestic worker using the boy’s toy (a Lego).

Police arrived on the scene at Shing Yam House, On Yam Estate, Kwai Chung.

After a preliminary investigation, the police found out that the boy was injured on his left leg. The boy was sent to the Princess Margaret Hospital in a conscious state.

The 27-year-old Filipino domestic worker was arrested on suspicion of abuse or neglect of a child or juvenile in her custody.

The case is being handled by the Kwai Tsing district crime investigation team.
