800,000 doses of CoronaVac arrive in Hong Kong

Health Authorities confirmed the arrival of the fourth batch of CoronaVac Vaccines in Hong Kong from Beijing.

In a government announcement, about 800,000 vaccines were received and was carried out for stringent checking and inspection in accordance with the procedures.

This is to ensure that they comply with the product specifications and that it is transported following the relevant cold-chain requirement.

A total of 8,759,500 doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered to the public where 4,517,600 people have received their first dose and 4,241,900 are getting their second dose.

The government has launched the Covid-19 Vaccination Programme where members of the public are encouraged to get vaccinated.
