All 7 confirmed Covid-19 cases imported

Hong Kong health authorities confirmed seven new Covid-19 cases on Sunday—all of them imported—marking another day where no local infections were recorded.

Five of the confirmed infections came from India, data from the Centre for Health Protection showed. Also among the logged infections are a 48-year-old female from the Philippines and a 44-year-old female from Indonesia.

Sunday’s tally brought the city’s Covid-19 caseload to 11,509.

The CHP said 130 coronavirus infections were recorded from Mar. 21 to Apr. 3, including 39 local cases of which 11 are from unknown sources.
