Hong Kong has recorded five new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, bringing the city’s coronavirus caseload to 12,101.

All of the cases were imported. Four of them were fully vaccinated against Covid-19 prior to arriving in Hong Kong—including a 38-year-old female from the Philippines.

The rest of the inoculated travelers came from Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.

An 18-year-old traveler from Myanmar and a five-month-old baby girl from Azerbaijan were among the non-vaccinated individuals.

In the past two weeks, Hong Kong reported 64 cases, all but two imported. The remaining two are a local case with an unknown source and another case related to an imported infection.
