FDW from Philippines among 2 new Covid-19 cases
A domestic worker from the Philippines and a male returnee flying in from South Korea are the two imported Covid-19 cases health authorities confirmed on Thursday.
Both cases were fully vaccinated against Covid-19. They were also found infected with a coronavirus strain with the L452R mutation, a Health Department officer told Hong Kong News.
The imported cases entered Hong Kong on Sept. 7 on separate flights.
Hong Kong has so far tallied 12,134 cases of Covid-19 infection since the beginning of the pandemic.
