Health authorities reported only one Covid-19 case on Monday—an arrival from Qatar who tested positive for a mutant strain of the coronavirus.

Data from the Centre for Health Protection showed case involved a 26-year-old male who entered the city on Sept. 11, after disembarking from Qatar Airways flight QR818.

He received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine in Hong Kong in April and May, and antibodies against the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus were found in his blood.

The city has so far logged 12,147 Covid-19 infections, with fewer than five people testing preliminarily positive for the virus.
