Telecommunications fraud emerges in an endless stream. Criminals fabricate false information to defraud through telephone, Internet, and SMS. In recent years, there have been many fraudulent cases involving phishing text messages, causing losses to the public.
AlipayHK has always attached great importance to the security of user accounts. It has a smart risk management system to provide real-time risk protection 7×24. It also has multiple verification methods and instant account freezing services to ensure account security.
AlipayHK has recently noticed related fraudulent methods, and immediately took a number of measures to strengthen prevention, so as to avoid the loss of users’ property as much as possible. AlipayHK has strengthened risk control management, intercepted suspicious transactions, provided instant account freezing services to help users reduce losses, and provided assistance after reporting to the police. At the same time, AlipayHK has notified the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Hong Kong Police of the counterfeit website and SMS*, and will also take other necessary and appropriate actions to protect the interests of users.
