HK confirms two new additional imported cases
Health Authorities confirmed two additional Covid-19 cases in Hong Kong on Friday.
The two additional cases came from Maldives and the Philippines which summed up the total cases to 12, 314.
Both of them arrived in Hong Kong on Oct. 18 and where found with L452R mutant strain of the coronavirus.
The 43-year-old Filipina is a domestic worker staying at the Penny’s Bay Quarantine Centre, she is fully-vaccinated from CoronaVac from the Philippines on May 28 and June 25.
The 31-year-old woman from Maldives received her vaccination from AztraZeneca on Aug.29 and Sept. 28. She is a close contact from the previous imported case and tested positive at a public hospital.
In the past 14 days, 60 cases have been reported which includes one local case and the rest were imported cases.
