Vice Consul Alex Vallespin said that the PCG raised the matter with Labour Department officials during the technical working group (TWG) meeting on September 27.
The HK government on September 30 increased the minimum allowable wage (MAW) of FDHs from $4,210 to $4,310 per month and their food allowance from $995 to $1,037.

aaaTHE Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) will ban employers who “frequently” terminate Filipino domestic workers, said Labor Attaché Jalilo dela Torre.
Dela Torre said he has ordered that those who terminate and change FDHs several times a year will be included in the POLO’s blacklist.
