The online registration for the civil service exam next month will start on All Souls’ Day (November 2) or afterwards, Labor Attaché Jalilo Dela Torre said.

Dela Torre said the Civil Service Commission did not post the registration link today on its website (http://www.csc.gov.ph/) because today (October 31) is a holiday in the Philippines.

“Undas kasi. So, they’ll post it either on November 2 or 3 (Wednesday or Thursday),” Dela Torre said in an interview.

He said the tentative date for the exam remains to be November 27 while the venue would either be the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai or the Delia School of Canada in Taikoo Shing. They are also looking at another site in Kwun Tong.

“(November 27) is our target date. The (Civil Service Commission) will make the announcement,” Dela Torre said.

More than 3,000 overseas Filipino workers in Hong Kong and Macau are expected to take the pen and paper civil service exam this month. This is the first time that the CSC will conduct the exam outside the Philippines.
