Temperatures in Hong Kong could drop to 13 degrees Celsius early next week, according to the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO).

The HKO said it would be rainy next Monday (December 10) with temperatures ranging from 13 to 15 degress Celsius.

The following day would still see a few rain patches while the temperature will range from 13 to 16 degrees.

“A replenishment of the monsoon is expected to bring rainy weather to the coastal areas early next week, temperatures will drop further over the region,” the Observatory said in its forecast.

On the other hand, the weather until Wednesday (December 5) will be relatively warm with temperatures ranging from 21 to 26 degress Celsius, it said.

“Relatively warm and humid maritime airstream will affect the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days,” it added.

The Observatory said it will begin to rain on Thursday with temperatures starting to drop to 17 degress Celcius on Friday.

“Under the influence of an intense northeast monsoon, it will become cool appreciably over southern China in the latter part of this week,” it added.
