New HKID application for those born in 1957-1961 ends on July 27

Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) born in 1957 to 1961 have until July 27 to apply for new smart identity cards, while those born on 1962 or 1963 can apply for theirs starting July 28.
The Hong Kong Immigration Department added that the application period for the latter will end on Sept. 22.
OFWs should apply in person at Smart Identity Card Replacement Centres(SIDCCs), locations of which can be seen below:

Applicants can set an online appointment here www.gov.hk/newicbooking, through the ImmD mobile application or they may also call 2121 1234.
They should bring their old HK identity cards at the SIDCC at the time of their appointment.
