LOOK: Throngs pack Lan Kwai Fong on Halloween weekend

Traffic was almost standstill around party area Lan Kwai Fong Saturday evening as locals and expatriates celebrated Halloween in the city.

Police have cordoned off several streets in anticipation of a deluge of Halloween partygoers. There was a one-way route from Central Station to Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo for people who wished to go to bars.

Bar patrons packed the streets as the government further eased social distancing measures in Hong Kong, as Hong Kong saw less local transmissions of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the city.
