Pinay bound for Boracay arrested for live bullet

A 68-year-old woman going to Boracay was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) after a bullet was found in her hand carry bag.

Members of Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group [PNP-AVSEGROUP] arrested Revelina A. Combis, a resident of South Poblacion, Dipaculao, Aurora, after a caliber 45 bullet was found in her luggage.

She was arrested at 9:45 a.m. today (October 29) at NAIA Terminal III.

Combis was supposed to board Philippine Airlines flight PR 2041 bound for Caticlan, Boracay when Office for Transportation Security (OTS) personnel found “one piece of ammunition for caliber 45″ in her bag.

Combis was charged before the Pasay city prosecutor’s office with Violation of Section 28 of R.A. 10591, otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.”
