The Philippine Consulate General said on March 12 that two other Filipinas who previously contracted the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have been released from the hospital.

This brings down the number of Filipina domestic workers who remained confined for COVID-19 to two. Prior to this, the first Filipina domestic worker who tested positive for COVID-19 has been discharged on March 6.

Meanwhile, two other Filipinos have to be placed under quarantine because they were exposed to or came in contact with other persons who got infected with the virus. From four, six Filipinos are now in isolation.

“All are healthy and remain asymptomatic,”Consul General Raly Tejada said.
