Philippine Consulate General in Admiralty

PCG ADVISORY:

A massive protest is reportedly scheduled this Sunday, 16 June 2019, in front of the central government offices in Admiralty and in Tamar Park, which are very near United Centre where the Philippine Consulate General is located.
The Consulate advises Filipinos, unless necessary, to avoid going near the demonstration areas for their own safety and to avoid inconvenience such as possible suspension of regular transport services.

The Consulate will remain open this Sunday to render consular services to those who urgently need them.

At the same time, the Consulate reiterates its earlier advice for those who will be availing of consular services to reconsider rescheduling their transactions at later dates and to exercise caution when going to and from the chancery.

Filipinos who normally gather in areas near the chancery for social purposes are strongly advised to spend their day in alternative venues that are far from the demonstration areas.

The Consulate shall continue to monitor the situation and provide regular advisories as needed.

For the public’s information and guidance.
