Hong Kong recorded six new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases Tuesday, the lowest daily tally in over two months.

Only three of these are local infections—two of which were detected through the mass testing program.

Two female returnees from the Philippines who flew in on Aug. 28 tested positive for the coronavirus. They are among the imported cases; the other is a seafarer from Ukraine.

As newly-confirmed coronavirus cases drop to single digits, the Hong Kong government issued several relaxations Tuesday to social distancing measures.
