Filipina among 17 new COVID-19 cases, all imported
All 17 new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) confirmed by Hong Kong health authorities Saturday were imported.
Eleven were new arrivals from India, a high-risk country under Hong Kong’s existing measures on inbound travelers.
The imported cases also include a Filipina, 30, who tested positive upon arrival at the airport.
Two of the cases hailed from Indonesia. The others came from Pakistan, Morocco, and France.
Saturday’s daily tally of new COVID-19 infections brings the city’s total coronavirus cases to 5,238.
