Winter is coming early.

Temperatures in Hong Kong are expected to go down to 13 degrees Celsius on Tuesday next week, according to the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO).

The HKO said that it will be fine and dry next Tuesday (Dec. 3) with temperatures ranging from 13 degrees to 19 degrees Celcius. Temperatures this week will range from 17 degrees to 26 degrees.

“The northeast monsoon will bring cooler weather to the south China coastal areas in the next couple of days,” the Observatory said.

“Under the influence of the replenishments of the monsoon, temperatures over the coastal areas will fall further and it will be cool in the morning and at night in the latter part of this week and early next week,” it added.

Winter usually begins in Hong Kong in mid-December.
